Bouquets to Opposite Lock Caboolture

In an era where bouquets seem to have been forgone, for to be replaced by brickbats for poor service, I would like to register my appreciation for a job well done.

I had been emailing Paul from Opposite Lock Caboolture regarding the supply and installation of a bullbar to the new Discovery. Over the course of a number of messages, I needed to change the day and time we would be there. The reason being that the Land Rover dealer could not pin down an exact delivery date from Customs etc. Once they had their hands on the vehicle, it then had to be detailed, along with others. So no arguments from me there.

When we eventually had a time to pick up the car, we arranged and then rearranged the time with Paul, who worked around other jobs to fit us in. He actually apologised that he could not get onto the job straight away, first thing in the morning as he had a prior commitment to another person that was urgent.

So bull bar and UHF fitted and great job. Excellent service.

I would recommend Paul at Opposite Lock Caboolture.

Best wishes

Bruce

G'day guys hows things ? Narada ( my wife ) and I have just finished our trip we ended up storing the patrol in Port Augusta and getting the Indian Pacific train back to Perth.

The wagon went real well didn't miss a beat I have a fuel leak and coolant leak in real hard to get to areas so I thought it would be best not to take the risk of doing the Nullabor track some where along the way the work lights and half the work light bracket  found a knew home in the out back.

Everything that was supplied and fitted still works well and is still secure,I'm glad I went with the XROX bull bars there were a few places that I needed the clearance and a standard bar wouldn't have been any good , the Mickey thompson Muddies were great as well but blood wood and rubber don't mix especially when it comes to side wall damage , the shower was great as was the everything else.

I think I have to buy a new fridge, the rough tracks has destroyed my fridge / freezer I'll purchase a reputable 1 for my next  trip.

It'll be a good move leaving my wagon in  Port Augusta, it's close to a lot of National Parks and a lot of places that I'd like to go back to and spend a bit more time, especially Victoria Alpine National Park.

Cheers for everything

Richard.

P.S Thanks for the hoodies they kept us warm

Do we need to say more?!

Thank you for your email, and more importantly, your kind words about our product styling.
We recently had an issue reported from WA distributors about the roof racks having issues with the burrs on our centre tubes.  As a result,  in the past week, our team inspected all of our roof rack stock to ensure all tubes slide neatly into each other to speed up the installation process.  I will mention the issue with the incorrect allocation of pedestals to our team.
We haven't had that specific problem until you pointing it out in your email.

The rear door having the sash fall off has occured in the field before from the supplier not putting enough glue in the sash.  We have taken them to task on this and employed our own staff member to inspect the windows and doors inside their factory prior to shipment to Australia.  We have also been weight testing the rear sashes that we have here in stock to make every effort to prevent any of these being used on new Canopies produced.

The last thing EGR wants is to be associated with a quality problem in an industry where we excel and maintain a very high quality product and reputation.  More importantly we try to maintain an excellent level of Customer Service to quickly attend to any issues that may arise with our products in the field.  I really appreciate your email to point out this problem from a user's perspective and thank you for your patience during this.

I appreciate your feedback and your email has been passed onto Senior Management for action and will be forwarded on to both the Production team and the supplier. I will also thank Chris next time we speak.  They are really good guys and we are very happy being aligned with the Opposite Lock franchises.

Regards,
Steve

To Paul and the staff at Opposite Lock Caboolture,

I would like to say that the quality and the service I received with you guys were fantastic; I have not received such service in a long time. When I had a problem you were able to rectify this for me in no time at all, even though the problem was not your doing. It is hard to get across to people what you want over the phone and via e mail, the end product that I ended up with just proves it can be done. Thank you again for a hassle free experience with your business, and please feel free to use me as a reference at any time.

''After an old shock absorber bush failed on the Mt Hopeless Road we were worried that we wouldn't get it sorted in time to finish our quick trip to the Simpson.  Thanks to the Sales Team and Richard we had a couple of new shocks waiting for us in Leigh Creek when we got there, and apart from the half hour it took for me to swap it over our trip wasn't interrupted at all. You blokes were efficient, friendly and went the extra mile to get us going again so quick and we really appreciated it.''

''Springs (rear) installed by you 2 weeks ago in my cruiser were indeed a lot better then the ones that came out ! Car did sit about 5 cm higher and did not bottom out again. These might have been a better option in the end then the heavier ones (that were not available) as now, without load, the car still drives nicely. Thanks guys!''

''I would really like to say that the two gentlemen who served me this morning were professional, patient and took the time to explain some different aspects to me. If there is any intercompany award or similar I would like to see them get it. Very, very impressed. Always a pleasure to shop at Opposite Lock Mile End.''

''Just wanted to let you know, we went to the Opposite Lock store in Mitcham, Vic, this morning and bought two of your chairs.
We are about to head up to Alice springs for two weeks so I'm sure they will get a thorough work-out! They look and feel fantastic, I'm sure they will get plenty of use over the next few years. Also wanted to let you know how wonderful the guys were at Opposite Lock this morning, they were very friendly and helpful.''

''We strapped the BOAB recover boards to the roof racks that i bought from you specifically to take to stockton and guess what, they got a work out. 10 minutes up the beach and they were under the back of a 3 tonne landcruiser 200 that was bogged up to the running boards, and they worked. It clawed up and over them like it was on concrete, then straight under the back of my pajero to get out of the same soft patch that we were stuck in and what do you know. Straight out as well.

They saved the day and allowed us to get in a surf and be back out before the beer got too warm.''
